Culinary Corner with Chef Morissa: Pizza Dip

INGREDIENTS

• ½ cup mini pepperoni
• 2-8oz. blocks of cream cheese
• 1 ½ cups parmesan cheese
• 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning-dried
• 1 cup pizza sauce
• 2 cups mozzarella cheese
• ¼ cup sliced black olives
• ¼ cup diced green bell pepper, divided
• ¼ cup diced red onion, divided
• Sliced toasted baguette-to serve

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake pepperoni on sheet pan for 10 minutes until cooked through. Blot grease with paper towels. Set aside. Stir to combine cream cheese, ½ cup parmesan, and Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl. Spread the mixture in an even layer in a 9-inch-deep pie dish. Add ½ cup of pizza sauce and spread evenly over the cheese mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella, ½ cup parmesan, and 2 tbsp. of pepperoni, black olives, peppers and red onion. Bake until the cheese is bubbling and beginning to brown, about 25 minutes. Serve hot with toasted baguette slices
