We promise to love and care for your family as we do our own.

At Kensington Park, Our Promise is to love and care for our residents as we do our own family. We invite you to join us in bringing that Promise to life through volunteering.

Our Kensington Park Volunteer Program is dedicated to celebrating the spirit of connection and friendship. Whether you’re a skilled artist, a talented musician, or a compassionate listener, there’s something for everyone and room to grow! Become a Kensington Park volunteer and share your passions, sharpen your skills and grow personally and professionally.

As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to make meaningful connections with our residents and team members, gain valuable transferable skills, contribute to the emotional wellness of our residents, and create positive change in your community.

We are seeking passionate volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. Our volunteering opportunities include but are not limited to:

  • Students: Assist and support our Life Enrichment Team with games and small group activities and programs. Provide some technical assistance with tablets, cell phones and computers.
  • College Interns: Support our Life Enrichment Team in planning social activities, entertainment, relaxation, and possibly improving daily living skills.
  • Adults: Participate in a wide variety of campus wide events throughout the year such as bartending, leading lectures or workshops, music or art classes, small group discussions, reading or fitness activities. Assist with holiday or themed events and parties.

Are you ready to join our Kensington Park Volunteer Program?

All you need to do is fill out our online application and our team will contact you.

Please note that the State of Maryland requires volunteers at nursing homes or healthcare facilities to provide a tuberculin skin test (PPD). Have your test results available before starting your application as you will be prompted to enter them.
