Dear Residents, Families and Friends,
I want to say a special thank you to everyone who contributed to Kensington Park’s Friendsgiving Food Drive to benefit Mid-County United Ministries in November. We are so grateful for all the donations! For December, we will be collecting donations for the “Angels for Children” Toy Drive, which helps provide toys and gift cards to low-income children in the Wheaton area. The donation box will be located in the Highlands vestibule until December 20th.
As I reflect on the year that has passed at Kensington Park: we have welcomed new families and friends, honored loved ones we lost, and kept “Our Promise” through compassionate care and kindness. All of this, we have done together as a family. We look forward to celebrating with you all during our holiday parties and fun events coming up.
We hope to see you all at our 4th Annual Winterfest Drive-Thru on Wednesday, December 13th from 6-8pm! Team Kensington Park will be here to greet you under the twinkling lights with glad tidings and good cheer. Be sure to drive under all 3 porticos at the Highlands, Woodlands and Groves to pick up sweet treats for the whole family. There will even be a special appearance from Santa Claus himself! Children are most welcome.
Finally, to all the residents, families, alumni, and friends who contributed to the 2023 Employee Appreciation Fund, we thank you! We are thrilled to share that the 2023 Fund collected more than $72,000 and counting! Your generosity never ceases to amaze us. Our team members feel so appreciated by you all for their hard work and are honored to take care of you and your families.
