A big Thank You to our Highlands residents, our family members, the Kensington Club of the Woodlands and Betsy Davis, chair of the Kensington Park Alzheimer’s Walk and fundraising, for a very successful 2nd Annual Alzheimer’s Drive-By Fundraiser on Saturday, October 2nd. Between online donations and purchases in person, we raised $4,103. We are grateful to all who participated and supported our team. The Kensington Park residents will be walking on campus Saturday, October 9th for The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We normally participate in this walk
on the Mall in DC with the National Capital Area chapter but due to the pandemic, residents and team members will have a small ceremony together on the beautiful KP campus!
As October is always Alzheimer’s awareness month, I would like to leave you with a quote by Maya Angelou that is quite important when engaging with others: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Thank you for supporting our team and making us feel good!
