Cindy Miranda is a Police Detective with the Montgomery County, Maryland Department of Police, Investigative Services Bureau, Criminal Investigation Division (CID), Financial Crimes Sections and has been employed as a police officer for the past 27 years.
Detective Miranda has been a Financial Crimes detective for the past 13 years and is in bilingual in Spanish. Detective Miranda has been an active member of the IAFCI Mid-Atlantic Chapter member since 2013 and is currently serving on the board as the secretary. In March 2017, she completed an intense 4 day course and became a certified fraud examiner. Detective Miranda enjoys working all types of financial cases in her unit but enjoys working with the elderly victims who have been financially exploited the most.
