As a life-enrichment director or coordinator, you would be responsible for planning and organizing social, recreational, and educational activities for residents.
You will also ensure that residents remain engaged, active, and socially connected, which will help them improve their quality of life and overall well-being.
Professional care
In our communities, residents have access to our nursing staff, rehabilitation services, and other memory care professionals who can address their physical and mental health needs.
Nursing
The nursing department provides medical care and assistance to residents.
Our nursing department ensures that residents receive appropriate medical attention and that their health needs are met promptly.
Registered Nurse
Our RNs are responsible for overseeing the medical care of our residents. They assess residents’ health needs and develop care plans.
They may also administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers. This team is available to residents 24/7.
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
Our LPNs work under the direction of RNs to provide basic medical care, such as administering medication, dressing wounds, and checking vital signs.
They also assist with daily living activities, such as bathing and grooming.
Care partners (CNAs)
Our care partners provide direct care to our residents, assisting them with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, and helping residents with mobility and positioning.
Rehabilitation
The rehabilitation department provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to help residents maintain or improve their functional abilities.
Working in this department means you would work with residents to create personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and encouragement to help the residents achieve their goals.
Kensington Park also offers creative art therapies, such as music therapy and brain wellness. Music therapy can improve seniors’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social health, and brain wellness helps maintain and improve cognitive function.
Memory care
The memory care department specializes in caring for residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
They provide specialized care to ensure that residents with memory impairments receive the appropriate care and assistance for their specific needs.
Our memory care department is divided into two specialized neighborhoods. The Connections neighborhood is for residents in the early-to-middle stages of dementia, who still maintain independence but may be experiencing early signs of forgetfulness.
Residents who are experiencing the late stages of dementia reside in our Haven neighborhood. These residents may require a higher level of care, and our team is there to maximize their comfort and ease agitation.

Nutrition and wellness are critical components of a healthy and fulfilling life, especially for older adults.

Dining

The main dining room is also fully staffed with waiters to give residents and their families a sophisticated experience.

Our dedicated concierge supports our residents with various tasks, ensuring convenience and personalized service.
The service-minded concierge team handles tasks ranging from organizing transportation and handling technical services to coordinating porter assistance and scheduling personal appointments.
Our concierge service, KP On-The-Go, will even help our residents run errands off campus. Residents only need to provide information to the concierge and our team takes care of the task.
Housekeeping
Support with housekeeping and laundry services is commonly provided in senior living communities.
Our housekeepers help maintain clean and organized living spaces, handle laundry needs, and ensure our residents a safe and comfortable environment. This department allows our residents to live the life they want to without worrying about how they’re going to accomplish the things they have to do.
Administration
The administration department is responsible for managing the overall operations of our senior living community. This includes managing finances, staffing, and resident care.
Administration ensures our community complies with regulations, provides oversight for the other departments, and handles any resident concerns and complaints.

This department works with prospective residents and their families so they can access all the information they need to make informed decisions. Kensington Konnect also provides resources to caregivers on how best to care for their loved ones.

The security department provides safety and security measures to protect residents, staff, and property. This includes monitoring the community for potential safety risks, ensuring that entrances and exits are secure, and responding to emergencies as needed.
