Team Member Highlight: Victoria Bakunoff

Although Victoria has only been with us for a year and a half, it feels like she has always been part of the Kensington Park family! She is often the first face that a visitor sees when they are coming through the door, ready to help with check-in or any other questions our visitors may have. Victoria is not only the warm greeter for our visitors but also a friendly companion to our residents – they know they can go to Victoria for anything they need and will be greeted with a warm smile.

Victoria wears many hats at KP, including leading activities for our Connections residents on Fridays. “Victoria is a humble person and gets along very well with both residents and staff,” says Starling, our concierge supervisor. “She is always willing to adjust to whatever new changes occur and has developed wonderful relationships with our residents’ families.”

Victoria is originally from the Orlando area of Florida and relocated to DC just three years ago to be closer to her boyfriend. The happy couple got engaged this past August and will be getting married later this year! Victoria and her fiancé enjoy spending time with their dog, a Maltese named Tinkerbell. She also enjoys spending time with her big family, which includes 6 siblings and 12 nieces and nephews! When asked what her favorite part of working at KP is, she said, “Definitely the residents! I love spending time talking with them, and you never know what they are going to say next!”

Thank you, Victoria, for everything you do for the residents and their families. We are so grateful to have you on the team!
