Shernette is originally from Jamaica and came to the US more than 20 years ago. She is very accomplished in the health care field. Shernette began working in a nursing home as a dining server and then eventually worked as a nursing assistant. Her passion for nursing grew, and Shernette went on to nursing school and graduated in 2009.
Caring for people is Shernette’s passion, and her focus has always been in retirement communities, clinics, skilled nursing and assisted livings. Residents benefit from Shernette’s calm and soothing demeanor. She supports Kensington Park wherever and whenever she is needed. Her knowledge and practice with infection control policies and procedures, which was especially crucial during COVID, is a great example for all to follow.
Shernette has a son, Gio, who recently went off to Norte Dame College, where he plays basketball and is studying business administration. Shernette’s hobbies include listening to music, reading, and attending live games and concerts. Kensington Park is so grateful to have Shernette as part of the team!
