Sara first joined the Kensington Park Family as an intern in May 2021, as she was finishing her degree in Gerontology at Towson University. After graduating, Sara officially joined the KP family as the Haven Activities Coordinator in July 2022.
During Sara’s short time here, she has made a world of difference in the lives of our Haven residents, along with their families. Sara has a special way of reaching all our residents, even those who are no longer verbal. She takes time to ensure that each activity is tailored specifically to the residents in her group; for example, she reaches out to families to incorporate resident’s favorite recipes into our baking days. Sara has also been working with our very own Elias Alicea, Brain Wellness Coordinator, to continue to expand their reach to our residents.
When Sara is not at KP, she enjoys spending time with family, including a visit to Hungary every summer to see her grandparents and extended family. She also enjoys painting and cooking Hungarian dishes. We are so lucky to have Sara as part of our KP family!
