Margareth joined the KP team 2.5 years ago and has been making our days brighter ever since! She is a native of Haiti and it was there, while caring for her father, that she discovered her passion for caregiving. After a serious accident, her father was hospitalized and Margareth stayed by his side, observing the nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) so that she could assist him in their absence. So when Margareth left her home country nine years ago to move to America with her husband, she knew she wanted to study to be a CNA to share her passion for caring with others. Margareth and her family lived in Boston for a short time before ultimately settling in Maryland, where she lives now with her husband and daughter. When Margareth isn’t perfectly executing her role as lead care manager, she loves to devote her time to worshiping God: reading the bible, listening to Gospel music and attending concerts. When it comes to food, nothing can top her Haitian favorites; but she does enjoy a good Reuben sandwich with a slice of pecan pie for dessert. Margareth lives the KP promise every day, providing excellent care and handling all challenges with grace, a warm smile and gentle touch. When asked what advice she would give to a new KP team member, Margareth said to “take advantage of this good opportunity, of all the training and in-services. If you work hard and work as a team, this is the best place to be!”
