Anthonia Agunyego, an LPN in Assisted Living, has been a part of Kensington Park since December of 2014. Originally from Nigeria, Anthonia came to the U.S. in 2006. Before coming to Kensington Park, Antonia was a CNA at Carol Manor Nursing and Rehab. During her time there, she went back to school to become an LPN.
Taking care of others has always been a passion of Anthonia’s. Most people would say that she has a big heart and is always kind to others, despite what she may be going through. You never walk down the hall without seeing Anthonia’s bigger-than-life smile! Her advice to others looking to start a career in health care is to “always have patience and the ability to learn new things.”
When Anthonia is not at work, she is spending time with her husband of 20 years and their son. Her favorite thing to do is cook, read, and watch her son play football – Anthonia says “I’m his number one fan!”
Anthonia said that she loves working at Kensington Park because of the family environment and how KP cares for the team. Her love for seniors is evident in her dedication to the job and compassion for others.
