Alethia joined the Kensington Park team in December of 2018 and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her. A seasoned and motivated concierge, she brings joy to Kensington Park residents, family and fellow team members. She is a steller first point of contact and always eager to help anyone in need. Alethia is a native Washingtonian who graduated from Margaret Murray Washington School. She feels the most at ease while spending time with her 4 children and 4 grandchildren, enjoying a meal at home together as a family. Prior to working as a concierge, Alethia worked at the National Zoo doing administrative work. A fellow coworker persuaded Alethia to apply for a job at Kensington Park; she was offered a position and accepted shortly thereafter.
Alethia admires Mother Teresa as a role model and hopes to follow in her footsteps of always serving others for God. In fact, Alethia shared that if she had the opportunity, she would have become a nurse because she is “dedicated to taking care of people.” Alethia excels at keeping “Our Promise” to love and care for your family as we do our own, putting residents first and making them feel valued. She is highly adaptable, compassionate, and dependable with a wonderful sense of humor. Congratulations, Alethia, on a job well done!
