Team Member Appreciation BBQ 2022
As a way to show how much we appreciate our incredible and dedicated staff, Kensington Park hosted a Team Member Appreciation BBQ!
Held on a beautiful May afternoon, groups of team members rotated through the event and enjoyed a meal from the Chix N Stix Food Truck. There was a wide variety of delicious chicken tenders, wings, fries, potato salad and ice cream!
KP team members were also able to have some fun by joining in on cornhole, volleyball, giant Jenga,
Checkers, and exciting raffles. Many team members also relaxed on blankets and benches to enjoy their food and the beautiful weather.
Thanks to additional contributions to the Employee Appreciation Fund in 2022, team members also received bonus checks when they arrived at the picnic. Due to our no-tipping policy here at Kensington Park, residents began this official Fund as a way to show their gratitude towards our hourly team members. Families donate every year, as well. The residents on the committee then sign each check and prepare them to be handed out. To all the residents, families, alumni and friends who contributed to the Fund, we thank you! Your generosity never ceases to amaze us.
A special thank you to our Human Resource Team, Jennine and Acacia, for planning such a special event. It was a nice treat to come 
together and recognize the hard work and commitment from the Kensington Park staff day in and day out. We are so grateful for our team!
