Kongit Wirisa started her career at Kensington Park as a Care Manager, which led to becoming a lead care manager and now our new Memory Care Coordinator. Prior to coming to Kensington Park, Kongit worked at Sunrise Senior Living where she worked as a Care Manager.
Kongit was born in rural Ethiopia and raised in the capital city, Adds Ababa, by her oldest sister. She is 1 of 10 children who live in the United States. She has lived in the U.S. for seven years and recently became a citizen!
Kongit is a people person who loves to laugh, make others laugh and be happy. She loves her job and gets great satisfaction out of helping seniors and the residents here at Kensington Park. She believes in treating all residents with dignity and in the same manner that she treats her Mom and Dad. She looks forward to the challenges she will face and will continue to provide best care for our residents and their families. Kongit is also looking forward to advancing her career and earning a degree Health Care Administration and IT in the future.
