Brain Wellness is a brain exercise program that stimulates, restores and maintains cognitive abilities for individuals with related deficits. The goal is to keep the brain as active and healthy as possible, preserve strengths and slow or halt progressive decline.
For caregivers at home taking care of their loved ones, some suggestions to keep the mind active are:
1. Stay physically active.
2. Get a healthy amount of sleep.
3. Eat a healthy diet.
4. Stay mentally active through reading, puzzles, or new activities like painting.
5. Social engagement.
