Give Thanks at Kensington Park Senior Living

November is a Time of Gratitude

Dear Residents, Families, and Friends,

November is a time of gratitude which, by most measures, is defined as a feeling of thankfulness. Our team at Kensington Park would like to say thank you for being part of our family and enriching our lives! We love caring for you and your loved ones and look forward to spending some quality time together over the holidays.

We would like to take this month to honor all of our veterans with special recognition both those currently in uniform and those who have previously served in our Armed Forces. We are grateful for your sacrifices that keep us safe and secure. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We send a special thank you out to all those who joined us for the National Walk To End Alzheimer’s, part of an ongoing effort to end this terrible disease. Kensington Park raised close to $10,000 and had a group of 50 hearty walkers! We enjoyed our time together and are hoping to double our fundraising goal for next year. A particular note of appreciation goes out to Iris Pierce, our Director of Memory Care, who was instrumental in making this happen. Thanks again, Iris!

And speaking about thanks, our residents at Kensington Park have established an Employee Appreciation Fund to recognize the hard work and dedication of our hourly team members. This gives residents and their family members an opportunity to express their appreciation without violating the “no tipping” policy. Correspondence has been sent both by email and postal mail with the details. If you would like further information, please contact Kenneth Liembo-Fonta by email at or by telephone at 301-946-7700.

We will be busy this month with many activities amid lots of holiday cheer, so please check out the calendars on our website, We look forward to gathering around the table with you to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday!

Again, thank you for all your continued support, feedback, and great comments about our team, we love being able to care for all of you. Feel free to contact me at any time via email, at or by telephone, at 301-946-7700.
