Dear Residents, Families and Friends,
Warmer days are here at Kensington Park, and it’s evident with the outdoor activities, garden clubs, and many residents walking around campus.
However, what brings real sunshine into the Kensington Park community is the wonderful staff that I am lucky enough to work with every day. Team members in every single department truly live out the Kensington Park Promise: to love and care for your family as they do their own. And they do.
As a small way to show how much we appreciate our incredible and dedicated staff, we recently hosted a Team Member Appreciation BBQ. Held on a beautiful May afternoon, groups of team members rotated through the event and enjoyed lunch from the Chix N Stix Food Truck, as well as played games like cornhole, volleyball, and giant Jenga.
Thanks to additional contributions to the Employee Appreciation Fund in 2022, team members also received bonus checks when they arrived at the picnic. Residents began this official Fund as a way to show their gratitude towards our hourly team members, and families donate every year too. To all the residents, families, alumni and friends who contributed to the Fund, we thank you for your constant generosity!
It is important to make sure our team feels valued for all they do for our residents, and we are proud to have loyal staff who have been with us for many years. Most recently, our team members Anab and Anthony celebrated their 22nd anniversaries with Kensington Park, the longest staff members we have! We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication over the years.
We have a lot to look forward to throughout the summer and remainder of the year – and there’s no better team to work with.
