Mary’s Message: Celebrating our Volunteers

Dear Residents, Families and Friends,

“Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.” – James Matthew Barrie

April is National Volunteer Month, and Kensington Park is proud to recognize the selfless volunteers who truly make a difference in our community! Whether it’s leading educational lectures on history, art and travel; brain wellness activities or games; new and views discussions; spiritual or religious programs; painting or flower arranging; cross-campus events; local events or outings; or of course, making our happy hours even happier – our volunteers do it all!

While they are a diverse group of people comprised of family alumni, high school students, local neighbors, and more, they all share something in common – their love of service, their love of seniors, and their love of family. After all, many of them are family and have had loved ones living with us at Kensington Park!

A special thank you to each of our volunteers. We are forever grateful for the time you give to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please reach out to Bertina Hanna at bhanna@kensingtonsl.com.

Happy Easter and Happy Passover to all who celebrate. I hope your holiday is extra bright and happy this spring season!

Warmly,
Mary
