At Kensington Park, it is our Promise to love and take care of your family as we do our own. That Promise extends to our residents and families.
That’s why we offer a variety of wonderful resources for caregivers, from educational webinars to intimate support groups.
Each month, Leslie Mason, LCSW-C, a Care Manager for Seabury Resources for Aging, leads a virtual discussion called Caregiver Connect. This meeting provides a way for caregivers to come together and talk about common challenges in a welcoming, private setting. This month, the meeting takes place on Monday, February 26th at 4:00 p.m. via Zoom.
Lelsie also leads an onsite Spousal Caregiver Support Group each month, specifically for spouses to share their caregiving experiences, connect with other spouses going through the same journey, and receive valuable insight from Leslie. The next meeting will take place at Kensington Park on Wednesday, February 21st at 12:00 p.m. To RSVP for either of these groups, reach out to Brooke at bballenger@kensingtonsl.com.
Finally, in honor of National Caregiving Day, join Kensington Senior Living for “HFC’s 4th Annual CareCon: Hosted by Lauren & Seth Rogen,” taking place on Wednesday, February 14th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. This free webinar is packed with celebrity-hosted, expert-led panels and workshops to educate, inspire, and empower Alzheimer’s and dementia family caregivers.
