Dear Residents, Families and Friends,
Happy New Year to all and best wishes for a healthy and happy 2023 from our Kensington Park Team! Year after year, I continue to be grateful for this amazing KP Family and every person apart of it.
The year of 2022 brought lots of joy to our residents at KP. We went to various outings throughout the year, such as museums, baseball games, scenic drives, restaurants, boat rides, farms, and more. We found joy in animals, from campus-wide farm animal events and service dog visits, to growing and releasing our own beautiful butterflies! We constantly stimulated the mind, body, and soul, including exercise classes, paint and sips, gardening clubs, cooking demos, music therapy, brain wellness, and various arts and crafts. Each day brought something new and fun!
The campus was flooded with families visiting, which was my favorite part to see. We even had families back into the community for our annual holiday parties with the residents. It felt so good to have everyone together enjoying a meal with their loved ones and getting to interact with the KP team!
On the digital front, Kensington Park introduced a new platform for Woodlands and Groves families last month: Digital Concierge! This platform was created to make it even easier for families to interact with the KP Team and meet the needs of their loved ones. On the Digital Concierge, it allows you to schedule a visit, book a salon appointment, arrange transportation for a doctor’s appointment, view the weekly dining menu, check out the monthly activity calendar, and much more. We will soon be rolling this out to our Highlands families, as well. A special thank you to our brilliant Woodlands resident, Kit, who came up with this idea and even designed the app herself!
As challenging as the past few years have been, one thing that has remained steadfast is our commitment to taking care of you all – our family. We are so grateful for your constant love and support, and are honored that each and every one of you are part of the KP Family.
There is nobody else I’d rather be on this journey with. I’m looking forward to a bright 2023 ahead!
