A Message From The Executive Director
Dear Residents, Families, and Friends,
November is a time of gratitude which, by most measures, is defined as a feeling of thankfulness. Our team at Kensington Park would like to say thank you for being part of our family and enriching our lives. We love caring for you and your families and look forward to spending some quality time together over the holidays!
We would like to take this month to honor our military veterans and give special recognition to those who currently serve in our armed forces. We are grateful for their sacrifices that keep us safe and secure and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Please see our calendars for the special Veterans’ Day events being held throughout campus.
I want to send a special thank you out to all those who joined us for the National Walk To End Alzheimer’s. The Kensington Park team raised over $20,000 with a group of 50 walkers! We enjoyed our time together and are looking to double our fundraising goal for next year. A special note of appreciation goes to Betsy Davis, our move-in coordinator, who was instrumental in making this happen. Thanks again, Betsy!
And while we’re on the subject of thanks, our residents here at Kensington Park have established an Employee Appreciation Fund that was created to recognize the hard work and dedication of our hourly team members. This has given our residents and their family members an opportunity to express their gratitude without violating our “no tipping” policy.
