After the screening, connect with caregivers and experts during a panel discussion led by Dawn Lucas, Social Worker & Kensington Family Member, and Iris Pierce, Kensington Community Support Specialist and Certified Dementia Practitioner.  Enjoy light bites, refreshments, and warm beverages as we come together to share insights and support.

Taking Care is a documentary following the journey of acclaimed filmmakers Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen as they navigate the complexities and heartbreak of Lauren’s mother’s advancing Alzheimer’s disease. About Our Speakers

Dawn Lucas, Social Worker & Kensington Family Member
Dawn Lucas has been a cherished member of the Kensington family since 2016, when her mother joined the community at Kensington Park. Along with her wonderful family, Dawn quickly became an integral part of the Kensington family and continues to stay connected as an active Forever Family Alumni. Dawn is also a former clinical social worker by profession, with a deep commitment to helping others.

Iris Pierce, Kensington Community Support Specialist & Certified Dementia Practitioner

Iris Pierce, CDP, has been with Kensington Senior Living for 10 years, where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to enhancing senior care. Currently serving as the Interim Executive Director at The Kensington Reston, Iris plays a pivotal role in overseeing operations, supporting leadership teams, and ensuring high-quality care. A Certified Dementia Practitioner and Licensed Assisted Living Facility Administrator, Iris is passionate about creating meaningful connections and driving excellence in senior living.
