Discover the power of movement and community with the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area’s Boxing Classes! Join us every Tuesday for an energizing boxing lesson specially designed for aging adults and individuals with mobility limitations.

Under the expert guidance of Dion, SPIRIT Club Trainer, our classes offer a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can improve their physical fitness, enhance coordination, and boost confidence. Whether you are new to boxing or have some experience, these sessions are tailored to meet your unique needs and abilities.

Meet Our Instructor

Dion is a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor who specializes in strength, conditioning, and functional fitness. Living with cerebral palsy, Dion offers adaptable workouts tailored to individual needs and is also trained in Muay Thai, having earned a double stripe, which reflects his skill and dedication. His expertise extends to boxing and self-defense, focusing on essential techniques for protection and overall lifestyle enhancements, such as balance, coordination, endurance, and confidence.
