Kensington Park and GROWS invite you to Our 8th Annual Friendsgiving! Stop by Kensington Park to kick off the season of giving with our annual Friendsgiving food drive. “Stuff the truck” with your donations and say hi to the Kensington Park team.

As we approach the season of Thanksgiving, we’re reminded of the incredible power of gratitude and the joy that comes from giving back. One more year, we invite you to we have an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of those who need help. All proceeds benefit the Mid-County United Ministries (MUM). MUM helps people in crisis in the Silver Spring, Wheaton, Kensington, Rockville and Aspen Hill communities with food, medicines, eviction prevention and utilities, emphasizing client choice, problem-solving, and self-sufficiency.

Ways to Contribute:

  • Non-Perishable Food: Canned goods, pasta, rice, and other non-perishable items.
  • Gift Cards: $25 gift cards to Safeway or Giant.
  • Monetary Donations: Checks made payable to Mid-County United Ministries (MUM).
