Take notice, please! And roll out the red carpet! On August 11, Kensington Park held its First Annual Team Member Recognition Banquet. This wonderful evening featured plenty of food and awards, as well as a slideshow of team members in action throughout the year, doing what they do best – taking care of others. And let’s not forget all the fabulous moves by those stars on the dance floor!
We had the privilege of recognizing 29 team members with Directors’ Choice awards, an honor given to the “most valuable player” in each department whose contributions demonstrate a commitment to Kensington Park’s promise “to love and care for your family as we do our own.” The directors had tough choices to make, as we have an amazing group of close to 300 team members who make a difference in the lives of others across the Kensington Park campus.
Our Employee Activities Committee was instrumental in assuring everyone had a great time and I would like to extend my appreciation to this group who planned it all, from the venue to the menu! A big thank you goes out to Acacia White as our committee champion! Her enthusiasm generated the fun and fellowship experienced throughout the night. A special surprise guest, Tanya Walker, Vice President of Kensington Senior Living, was on hand to mingle, thank, and dance with our team. Thanks, Tanya!
