Chef Morissa’s Sweet Tea Mint Juleps
In honor of National Iced Tea Month!
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 4 Tea Bags
- 1 oz. fresh Mint
- 1 ¼ cup Bourbon
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 ¾ cup Prosecco or Sparkling Wine
Combine Sugar and ½ cup of water in saucepan and dissolve on stove top. Add tea bags and mint and steep for 20 minutes. Discard tea bags and mint. Stir in juice and bourbon and chill. Pour tea mixture into pitcher, stir in sparkling wine. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and serve immediately. Best if shaken with ice and strained before served.
