Let us extend our congratulations to Matt Pasowicz, who has been appointed the Director of Environmental Services here at Kensington Park. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, Matt attended Niagara Univ. where he majored in International Studies. In addition, among his extra-curricular activities, he played on the university’s hockey team. Matt would be the first to tell you that if any sport requires a work ethic of effort, endurance, and applied skills, it would be hockey. Such an experience would enhance the education of any young person, and Matt was no exception. After graduating from Niagara with a Bachelor’s Degree, he returned to Kensington Park where he had worked previously in a summer job in the Environmental Services Dept. and thus was familiar with the Community and a number of its residents. Matt’s talents and energy were obvious traits of a valuable employee, as well as his desire to learn as much as possible in relation not only to his own duties, but also in terms of his Department’s responsibilities within the framework of the organization.
Therefore, it was good news for everyone when he was offered the Environmental Services Directorship. Matt is keenly aware of the many responsibilities and requirements delegated to both him and his Department. He is quite highly up to speed on the wide array of regulations and codes that go hand in hand with the daily operation of a complex as large as Kensington Park. Moreover, Matt understands that the highest level of excellence in any arena of work demands continual planning to handle any and all situations that can arise at any given time. This entails the training of a first class staff well equipped in skill and dedication. Matt himself sets the example for his people as they go about providing a safe and happy atmosphere for the residents who deserve no less. Every day, those who live here encounter him as a warm, friendly young man anxious to satisfy their needs by making their home a serene place in which to enjoy the cherished comforts that we all appreciate. Matt truly loves the residents and his feelings for them come forth through word, deed, and a smile. We are most fortunate to have him in the KP family.
