Who is a Solo Ager?
A senior who does not have a partner, children or kin who can support their care as they age
At Kensington Park, we understand firsthand the decisions that need to be made as a family caregiver of an aging adult, and that this journey is one you should not undertake alone.
Don’t miss this educational presentation on Caring for Solo Agers with experts Megan Campbell, owner of Willow Legal Group Esq., Eldercare Attorney, Geriatric Care Manager; Jan Brito & Laura Quigley of Capital Senior Solutions, Licensed Associate Real Estate Brokers; and Susy Murphy and Bree Baldwin, Geriatric Care Managers, Aging Well Eldercare.
This panel discussion will focus on the solo senior who does not have a partner, children or kin who can support their care as they age – or the caregiver who is caring for a spouse but has no relatives. It will include the legal ramifications such as Power of Attorney, the clinical aspects as to how care will be provided if needed, and logistics of how to decide where to live.
