As the director of the NIA’s Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias pharmacological clinical trials research portfolio, Dr. Ryan will share invaluable insights into the current advancements in Alzheimer’s research. In addition, she will explore the future trajectory of this critical work as we look ahead to 2025 and beyond. Dr. Ryan will also provide an update on Donanemab, a promising new drug in the fight against Alzheimer’s, offering fresh hope in the search for effective treatments.

Dr. Laurie Ryan oversees the development, coordination and implementation of the Division of Neuroscience’s clinical therapeutic and diagnostics research programs and infrastructure at National Institutes of Health. She holds a special place in our hearts, as she is also a Family Alumni of Kensington Park! Her wonderful father lived here with us until 2020, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our Forever Family.
