Carlos E. Sanchez, MDLearn MoreCarlos E. Sanchez, MD, is an attending neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery and a principal investigator at the Cell Enhancement and Technologies for Immunotherapy Program at the GW Cancer Center. He specializes in surgical care for patients with benign and malignant brain tumors. Fellowship trained in pediatric neurosurgery, Dr. Sanchez served as the director of skull base surgery at Children’s National Hospital from 2018-2021 and specializes in caring for young adult and adult patients with neurosurgical conditions previously treated in childhood.

Saleem I. Abdulrauf, MDLearn MoreProfessor Saleem I. Abdulrauf, MD, FACS, serves as a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at George Washington University in Washington DC and holds the distinction of being the Neurosurgeon-in-Chief at the Abdulrauf Institute of Neurosurgery. Recognized for his pioneering contributions, he established the Department of Neurosurgery at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he held the position of founding Chairman.
A globally respected figure in neurosurgery, Dr. Abdulrauf has been invited as a visiting professor to over 100 universities worldwide. His significant literary contribution to the field includes authoring the seminal textbook, “Cerebral Revascularization,” focusing on extracranial to intracranial bypass surgery. Notably, he has developed a novel procedure in brain bypass surgery that bears his name.
