“The cherry blossom is a reminder to be grateful for the beauty of life.”
The Cherry Blossom Festival is not only a celebration of nature’s beauty but also a tribute to the enduring friendship and love between cultures. At Kensington Park, we’re all a big family – we build bridges and come together as one. This spring, we’re inviting you to celebrate the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival with a cooking demonstration by our Executive Chef Morissa Harris!
We’re getting together to celebrate the arrival of the spring, learn about Japanese culture, and to have fun cooking together as a family. Join us for this special cooking demo and sushi-making class! Kyoko Morrone, our K-Club Activities Coordinator from Japan, will join in the fun and share cultural insights on the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Whether you’re a seasoned sushi enthusiast or experiencing sushi-making for the first time, we guarantee an unforgettable family experience filled with joy, wonder, and camaraderie.
Our Executive Chef, Morissa, and our K-Club Activities Coordinator, Kyoko, are co-hosting this cooking demostration to bring the best of both their worlds! Morissa transforms each mealtime gathering into a sensational dining experience, and will delight us with her special sushi recipes. Kyoko brings her passion and first-hand knowledge of Japanese cuisine, culture, and cherry blossom traditions. Together, they are diving into the culinary world of Japanese sushi, ready to show their skills and share them with you. Don’t miss it!
