Resident Care, The Kensington Way
At Kensington Park, we believe in the power of community, but also value the preservation of individuality. Down time is yours, if you choose it. Companionship is within easy reach, if you desire it. Culture is nearby, if you seek it. If you prefer a quieter place, then you can relax in intimate spaces that offer peace and solitude.
If you like to keep busy, then you can consult our calendar of programming or take advantage of nearby restaurants, shops and parks. Not to mention, your family is our family. Residents’ friends and families may visit as often as they like and are encouraged to join in our activities, outings, holiday celebrations and daily meals or cocktail hours. Whatever is most important to you, is most important to us.

In an independent living community, amenities such as prepared meals, transportation, daily housekeeping, and enriching activities are offered. Floor plans may include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, plus full or partial kitchens.
The Kensington Park team plans and provides all types of experiences for the residents. Enhancing engagement is a key for cognitive and physical well-being. In-house exercise starts off any day with a get up and go attitude. Exploring new areas to expand involvement in the regional community and fostering new relationships is a focus.
Seniors who are ready for independent living are those who are somewhat independent but can not live on their own safely.
If the areas listed below are consistently presenting issues for your senior loved one, it might be time to assess whether independent living care is best for your loved one.
- Meal Preparation – Can they cook for themselves? Are they eating balanced meals?
- Safety and Mobility – Have there been falls? Can they safely navigate their home?
- Transportation – Are they safe behind the wheel, or do they have some other mode of transportation?
- Socialization – Are they maintaining a social network? Are they leaving the house?
- Home Management – Is the interior and exterior of the home being maintained?
At Kensington Park, we specialize in providing progressive memory care and enhanced assisted living services, offering the opportunity for true aging in place with a full spectrum of care.
We’re a community, putting family first and treating your loved one as if they were part of our own family. It’s helped us earn a reputation for ongoing staff loyalty as well.
We understand that managing dementia can be a difficult challenge. Our hope is that we can lift the burden of care management to provide a safe, enriching, and peaceful home for your loved one.
With our trusted care, you can focus on the many beautiful shared moments that are still ahead for you and your loved one.
