Born and raised in Canada, Robert’s dedication to enriching the lives of seniors and their families has been a guiding principle throughout his career. For the past five years, Robert has been at the helm of The Kensington Redondo Beach, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and community. Known for his exceptional leadership skills, he inspires his team to deliver the highest standard of care and create a warm, welcoming environment where residents thrive.
Maleni Meza-Montes, Assisted Living Manager at The Kensington Redondo Beach
Maleni has been a valued team member since the community opened in 2019. She began her journey as a Care Partner and quickly demonstrated her commitment and leadership potential. Within a few months, she was promoted to Lead Care Partner, and two years later, she advanced to the role of Assisted Living Supervisor. Today, as the Assisted Living Manager, Maleni continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of residents and their families. In addition to her leadership roles, Maleni has received her PAC Certification, showcasing her expertise in dementia care and her dedication to providing exceptional support to residents with cognitive challenges.
Shamaris Mercado, Life Enrichment Manager at The Kensington White Plains
Shamaris’ passion and dedication to enhancing residents’ lives shine through every day. She began her journey with Kensington in 2016 as the Haven Activities Assistant, and her exceptional work ethic and connection with residents led to her promotion to Life Enrichment Manager in 2023. Shamaris has embraced her leadership role within the Life Enrichment team, inspiring innovative programming and fostering meaningful experiences for residents. Her commitment to creating engaging and joyful moments embodies The Kensington’s Promise to love and care for residents as we do our own families. Shamaris’s ability to build relationships and bring vibrancy to the community makes her an invaluable part of The Kensington White Plains family.
